Club de Karate Washinkai España are pleased to announce the dates for the Spring Gasshuku. Shihan Chris Thompson 9th Dan will be arriving on Thursday 16th of May and staying until Sun 19th of May 2019. Please make a note of these dates and ensure that you do not miss out on an opportunity to meet the founder of our style of martial art.

On Saturday the 18th,  Sensei will be attending the 2nd Peter Ford Memorial Cup inter-club Competition at the Jávea Sports Centre in the Port. There will be a number of referees from the UK, so this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your skills. Students are invited to attend a Black Belt Dan Grading on Friday evening. There will be an opportunity to join Sensei and senior Instructors from the UK for lunch during one of the breaks in training. Books will be for sale at the course and a certificate of attendance. Your karate license book will also be stamped, accredited and signed by Sensei. As always, Sensei will be answering questions from both students and instructors. Sensei Geovanny would like to remind all students of the importance of MAXIMUM attendance. Shihan Chris Thompon only visits the club twice a year, therefore, attendance of these courses help to ensure future funding and maintain the high standard. Attendance will also help to improve prospects for future gradings and promotion. Prices and venues to be announced.  This page will be updated when further information is available.
