Shihan Chris Thompson founder of Washinkai Karate was kind enough to talk to us about his early years in karate and the benefits of learning a martial art at any age. We asked him a number of searching questions about how he sees the future of karate and also what he thought of the club here in Spain. The footage contains extracts from the Black Belt class where he it taking senior instructors through their paces as he explains the finer points of the Kata Ten Shin Sho (a Kata created by Shihan Chris Thompson and performed many times in international competition).
