Today the Mayor of Jávea, José Chulvi and the leader of the Sports Council, Juan Luis Cardona welcomed students from the Washinkai Karate Club Jávea and congratulated them on achieving their medals at the latest Inter-club tournament for the Marina Alta area held at the sports centre in the Port of Jávea last weekend. Shihan Chris Thompson 8th Dan will be attending and instructing at the Washinkai Spain Spring Gasshuku. Preparations are under way to welcome senior instructors from both the UK and Spain. The course will last two days from the 15th and 16th of May 2015 and will take place at the Poly Deportivo, Jávea Sports Centre
